We specialize in teaching BJJ (Brazilian jiu jitsu) to all types of people.

We teach martial arts, and especially BJJ, because we’re interested in making life better for everyone. We believe that martial arts is a great way to do that. Alchemy Combat Club exists to help people make their lives better – kids, adults, athletes, former athletes, couch potatoes, former couch potatoes, everybody. We believe that taking care of your body and mind should be the first priority for every human, every day. Without that commitment to yourself, you don’t have much to offer anyone else.  Our way of honoring that commitment to take care of yourself is through the practice of martial arts, especially Brazilian Jiu jitsu and Judo. For us, martial arts develop both body and mind. There are other ways, of course, but this is our way.

Here’s what you’ll find at Alchemy:

Our Facility

We have over 3000 square feet of mat space for training – that means you won’t be constantly crammed up against other people during BJJ or Judo classes. It’s a lot to clean, but we do it every night so that it’s fresh for you each day. We have a little observation deck looking out over our awesome floating mat. It’s a specially designed floating floor system that helps keep people safe when they’re training, and no one else has it. We also offer showers – two of them – to make it as easy as possible to fit your training into your schedule.

Our People: Your BJJ instructors and Fellow Students

Our instructors are professionals. These are not folks that teach one or two classes a week and are never seen on the mat otherwise. These are BJJ and Judo professionals that have been doing this for years. We wouldn’t trust you safety, your progress, or your happiness with anyone less.

You’ll also find a tribe: your fellow students.  Teammates willing and able to help you from the moment you step on the mat.  People improving themselves and their lives together. A home away from home. Our classes are just the right mix of exhausting and exciting. You’ll leave sweaty, tired, and smiling every time.

You’ll find a new dynamic version of you at Alchemy. BJJ classes have the potential to transform you both on and off the mat. Our students tell us the longer they’re here, the more skills they acquire, the more endurance they have, and the more fun they create. We love to hear about the muscle growth, the increased flexibility, the growing patience, and newfound understanding. For us, this kind of enthusiasm signals that we’re accomplishing our mission. Come in and share your experiences with us.

Here are a few testimonials from our students:

“Jiu Jitsu is something I have wanted to take on but never found the motivation to make it to any formal classes. My friend brought me along to a beginner class a month ago and I instantly got hooked. Besides it being an easy location for me to sneak out on a lunch break for a class, there is great instruction, and friendly people. Highly recommend checking out Alchemy” – Evan B.
